Fun on the 4th

      We did something we've never done before to celebrate the 4th of July...we went to our friends cabin up on the Mesa! It was so fun (and a little cold!) It rained most of the time, but that never stopped the girls from playing outside the whole day!
      To start out our holiday, Mollie lost her first tooth!! She was so excited! My Mollie is seriously tough and didn't think twice about pulling it out. She's now wiggling her other teeth to make them fell out faster :)

      Carli and Ashley did nothing but collect sticks and other "treasures" to build forts. They are so creative and love to hang out together because they are both so active! They love to be outdoors! In fact, we didn't see much of them throughout the day.

      The rain made everything sososo muddy! By the time our day was over, we were covered in mud! The dad's went on a mountain bike ride and got soaked...so by the time they made it back, they were so muddy they had to change out of their clothes before they were allowed inside :)

      When the rain got to be a little too heavy to be in, we all moved indoors. We made foil dinners and played cards, while the kids just played ping pong and hung out upstairs. The scenery was beautiful too! They have such a nice place!

      The rain finally stopped so we could go back outside. We built a fire and roasted marshmallows for s'mores. You know what that means...more mess! It was such a great time! We sure had a lot of fun on the 4th!
