Crazy 8's

Both girls wanted to be #8 for soccer (I don't know why) so we started calling them "crazy 8's". It is so cute to see them walking together when they have their uniforms on...they think they're so cool!
Regan is catching on to the game a little. She just likes to get out there and "kick that ball". It doesn't matter which direction it goes! It is so cute to watch!

Carli has become a soccer-fanatic!! She has improved SO much from last season, and is one of the best on her team...check out this action shot! We are so proud of her!!

This picture has a story behind it: The girl in blue "flying" through the air is Carli's friend Kylee. This is their first time playing against each other. Prior to the game, the dads were laughing about "taking out" their friend during the game...all in fun! Well, no sooner had the first quarter started and Carli totally plowed down Kylee!! Aaahhhh!! She said it was an accident, but Kylee's dad unfortunately got a picture of the incident. Here is the picture of Kylee falling and Carli's arm extended from taking her out! Thanks for not suing us! :) Don't worry, they're still friends!!

facebook

Alright, so I finally joined "facebook". It looks like it might be fun! I hope it doesn't take over any extra time I may have :) I've been getting bugged about this for a while now, so here are your options:

a) Log onto "facebook" and add me as a friend

b) Become a member (or whatever it's called) of "facebook" and add me as a friend

c) Not care about "facebook" in the slightest

To those of you who put off "facebook" like I did, just think....friends are great! Who doesn't need more friends?!? :)
All of my sisters are on "facebook"...I'm the last one to join!

Biker Chick

Mountain biking, that is! Carli started mountain biking with Chad this weekend!! On Friday afternoon she biked Kessel and Saturday afternoon she biked Rustlers. She did AWSUM!! She had a couple wrecks on Friday and they made her "a little worried", but Saturday she jumped on and rode with no problems! Chad is so proud! He is excited that they can go out and ride together. Mountain biking has become one of his favorite hobbies. We are spoiled living here because we have great friends who are always up for getting out and having fun! Now Regan wants to learn to ride without training wheels so she can go with them! (I want to go too!) We are so happy our girls love to be outdoors and spend time as a family! Maybe in a few years we'll have a bunch of "biker chicks"! :)

Carli coming in...doesn't she look so tiny!? Carli after the ride...look at that smile!
One cute mountain biker!

What's up?

For those of you who have been wondering lately, "Where is Mindy?" "Why hasn't she made any comments on my blog?" "Why hasn't she done her hair this week?" "Does she always wear dirty clothes?" let me explain...I decided last week, spur of the moment, that I was going to paint my table and chairs. Why I chose the week of Easter (and many other activites) to do it, I don't know. I LOVE the finished product, but it was quite the undertaking. After days of sanding, hours of painting, days to dry and more hours of sealing, I am ready for this project to be done!! AND it's not! I still have to finish the leaf for the table and I'm searching for two more chairs to buy/sand/paint. My family is happy to have a table back after a week and I am happy it's almost done. Now it's time to start curtains! :)

Happy "Keaster"

Hope you all had a great Easter holiday with your families. Mollie kept calling it "Keaster" which we laughed at. Carli wanted to know why we were laughing, we told her, and "Happy Keaster" was used for the rest of the day! :) Such funny kids! We missed all of our extended family (it was our first Easter with just our immediate family) and we had a wonderful day together celebrating the holiday and talking of its true meaning. It makes us so happy to know that our girls are gaining a knowledge of their Savior and His sacrifice for them. Happy Easter!! We had fun coloring Easter eggs...too bad it only takes about 5 minutes to color a dozen and a half eggs!
The girls after church...they thought they were the luckiest girls in the world to get new skirts!

I'm not sure what Regan is doing with this crazy smile...but it sure made us laugh!

Our little freckle-faced girl...she is growing up so fast! She thought it was so funny to say that the "Keester Bunny" came to our house!
Crazy Mollie LOVED Easter this year...two is such a fun age! She also loved finding/hiding Easter eggs!

The morning "loot". Their favorite was the new clothes/bracelets...definately girls!
The girls each wanted a turn to hide the eggs...they couldn't get enough!
