A summer full of soccer

With Carli making the competitive team, we have had a summer literally FULL of soccer! Practices/trainings are 3 times a week, not to mention tournaments and camp. She has loved it so that helps :) Over the course of about 6 or 7 weeks we had tournaments in Steamboat Springs, Vail, Park City, and a local 3v3 tournament here in GJ. Regan also participated in the 3v3 tournament (she was invited by a different coach in her division...huge compliment since the teams were only 5 players!) and both Carli's team AND Regan's team won the whole thing!! They played so well! It is a huge commitment, but it sure is fun to watch these girls progress and succeed! I guess you can say I'm just a regular "soccer mom" :)

Steamboat Tournament (they do this field run when they win)

       Park City Tournament

Between games, we like to see the towns. The downtown areas have great shops and activities. This was a candy shop that the girls LOVED! It had a make-your-own giant pixy stick center. It was great!

Park City Tournament. One thing I've had to get used to is that they don't cancel soccer for ANYTHING. Our girls have played in sun, rain, and snow. This game was played in the pouring rain. It was crazy! I don't know how these girls do it, but they are seriously tough! If anything, it made them more hyper :) Carli was nothing but smiles after this wet game...crazy kid!

Her biggest fans! Rain or shine, they are always there to cheer on their big sister!! These girls sure love each other!
