For Easter we let the girls pick out two chicks each....yes, I said chicks. Crazy, I know. I let Chad convince me that it would be nice to have fresh eggs everyday. We ended up with 6 laying hens (no roosters!) and the girls LOVE them! They have changed names a few times, but their names for the moment are as follows: Carli's- Bella and Fuzzy Regan's- Tiny and Tiny (they're twins)
Mollie's- Brownie and Pinker
It's fun to watch them help feed/water them and work with Dad to build a chicken coop. They are cute little things, but they are growing fast! Before long, we'll be eating omelettes!!
